Starting in the early 1950s, the company now manufactures its products in three separate factories in the city of Bursa in southwestern Turkey. The company employs more than 650 people and the factories cover an area of more than 70,000 square meters.

Baykal’s production capacity is approximately 3,000 machines per year for edging machines, sheet metal cutters, laser, plasma and gas cutting systems, and sheet metal work centers. Baykal exports about 70 percent of its production and has representatives in more than 110 different countries. The company’s operating system has received ISO 9001 quality certification. Baykal’s machines have been imported to Finland since 1999 and more than 450 have already been sold.
