Cost-effective automation
CMA’s automatic drilling machines enable the automation of drilling, tapping and milling work on larger and more difficult-to-shape workpieces at a much lower cost than portal and column-type CNC milling machines. On the other hand, compared to manual work, automation saves very significant personnel costs and achieves high accuracy thanks to a single attachment.
Manual tapping machines
CMA also manufactures hand-operated tapping machines up to M65. A wide variety of fastening mechanisms are available for the lightening arms of a threading machine, such as magnetic legs, which can be conveniently attached to large and difficult-shaped objects. Tapping machines are thus excellent, for example, as auxiliary machines for performing a single gear after other larger machine tools. In Finland, there are numerous CMA automatic and hand-held machines in very demanding production use.
