The history of SMI is a story of progressive development, over the years integrating into industry groups that were able to synergistically cover different application areas, as well as manufacture versatile solutions according to customer requirements.
SMI was founded in 1990: FCF’s first commercial building became a business and production center. Manufacture of CNC machines and tools from all types of metals and their alloys for versatile pipe processing.
SMI officially merged in 2009, retaining important resources such as skilled, qualified and trained technicians as well as an organization that manages all production processes.

SMI’s added value and special expertise consists of merging three companies into a single entity to achieve a global vision and goals. SMI is a market leader in many different applications in general and manufactures CNC machines and factories for various industries such as:
• Cold storage, heating, air conditioning and cooling

• Alternative and renewable energy
With a total area of more than 30,000 square meters, SMI has a covered space of 14,000 square meters and employs about 120 people.
