Gefertec's 3D metal printers are suitable for the production of larger pieces with a maximum of 3 m³ and 3000 kg, especially thanks to low-cost and fast wire welding (max. Approx. 600 cm³ / h).

Gefertec's 3D metal printers are able to make near-net-shape parts that require only a small amount of machining. In the example in the picture, the 3D metal printed titanium part cost only € 2,000 compared to the traditional machined part of € 4,500.

Founded in 2015, the German Gefertec manufactures 3D metal printers based on 5- or 3-axis wire welding. Thanks to the inexpensive and fast growth (max. Approx. 600 cm³ / h), the company’s advanced machines are especially suitable for the production of larger pieces with a maximum of 3 m³ and 3000 kg.

Customers are welcome to visit Gefertec’s Technology Center in Berlin, where test prints of customers ’pieces can also be made.

The German Geferetec 3D metal printers are based on 5- or 3-axis wire welding and are capable of realizing complex pieces as well as multi-material printing.

Wire welding increases the so-called the near-nets-spahe part, i.e., a component that requires only minor post-machining. In this case, time and material are saved, especially with difficult-to-machine materials. With the help of welding, it is also possible to make multi-material pieces and also utilize it in product repairs. Utilizing traditional wire welding also offers a very wide and inexpensive range of materials for use by product designers.
