Lathes and machining centers

Founded in 1947 and headquartered in Hallein, next to Salzburg, EMCO manufactures turning and machining centers. The company has a wide range of high-tech products and its machines have been familiar to Finnish machine shops since the 1980s, and almost 200 of them have been delivered to our country so far.

Wide product range

There are several different model series of turning centers, e.g. With B-axis and lower turret and as a 3-turret, for example. Bar capacities are available Ø 25-110 mm, maximum turning lengths 320-6100 mm and maximum rotation diameters 325-1050 mm. In addition, the company also manufactures vertical lathes for large series production. There are also several machining centers with 5-, 4- and 3-axis machining centers, X-movements = 350-3200 mm. The tables are available in mobile, fixed and cradle versions. EMCO also offers highly customized automation solutions that can combine e.g. robots, bar magazines and portal inserts.

EMCO has several different models of turret turning centers. Max. Bar diameters 25.4-110 mm, rotation diameters 250-1050 mm and turning lengths 300-6050 mm. Revolvers are available in up to three pieces.

The EMCO TH200 represents the manufacturer's toughest head for turning. In a multi-function turning center, the maximum rotation diameter is 500 or 800 mm and the tip distance is 3100-6100 mm.

Machines also for training

In addition to solid and efficient production machines, EMCO also manufactures machines for educational use. In addition to the low investment price, the advantages of the machines include innovative convertible CNC control, where Siemens, Fanuc, Heidenhain and Fagor controls can be used on the same machine. In this way, students will be able to learn the guidance most commonly used in industry and understand their differences, which will help them find employment.

EMCO manufactures B-axis turning milling centers in several different sizes for max. Bar diameters 65-110 mm, rotation diameters 500-1050 mm and for turning lengths 1050-6100 mm. The manufacturer also offers ready-made production cells with automation solutions combined with machines.

Mobile column MMV series machining centers are available for 5-, 4- and 3-axis machining. There are two different sizes of fixed table machines: MMV 2000 (table 2400x950 mm, load capacity 2200 kg) and MMV 3200 (table 3500x1050 mm, load capacity 5000 kg).

Aggressive growth

EMCO is a very active product developer and also invests heavily in technical support and various customer events. In addition, the EMCO Group, part of the Kuhn Holding GmbH family business, has invested heavily in recent years by acquiring traditional machine tool manufacturers: Magdeburg, a vertical turning center manufacturer, FAMUP, a machining center manufacturer, and Mecof, a manufacturer of long and gantry machines.
